Salena Estate is pleased to announce the opening of its new cellar door and restaurant, Cucina 837 at Salena. Following months of construction work, the beautiful new cellar door has taken shape, with truly breathtaking details and stunning stonework surrounding the façade.
A large outdoor area boasts cosy furniture, and provides a perfect place for a relaxed picnic on the sprawling lawns – an ideal offering for the summer months. When the weather starts to cool, the estate is also equipped with an indoor area that has a spacious fifty-person capacity. A furnished outdoor zone with a sixty-person capacity is equipped with blinds and heaters, ensuring guests will be comfortable and toasty all year round, regardless of inclement weather.
The Salena Estate team is thrilled to welcome a new chef aboard; Vincenzo Gallo is a supremely talented Italian chef who Riverland locals may know from his gorgeous converted camper trailer and food truck, ‘Italian Food Made with Love’. Diners can expect an abundance of freshly made pasta and wood-oven pizzas, as well as traditional antipasto platters. A large selection of wines from the Salena Estate repertoire are also on offer; crisp whites, rosés, and sparkling options are available to keep guests cool during summer, while rich, moreish reds and tawnys will warm the soul in wintertime. With such an exceptional range of perfectly paired food and wine on offer, the hardest decision will be deciding what to have!
