After years of producing fruit for its varietal, in 2023, Artwine cellar door turned ten years old. It’s hard to believe what Artwine has achieved in that time, especially after launching its label in 2009. The first plantings of its alternative varieties commenced in 2002, and since then, the winery has grown two complete vineyards – one in Clare Valley and another in Adelaide Hills housing the beautiful, light-filled cellar door. Complementing the views and nestled amongst the superbly designed gardens are the stunning grounds, akin to the fields of Tuscany.
The Artwine cellar door opened in 2013. Architecturally designed, it offers visitors a range of new and emerging Mediterranean wines. The winery has achieved much more than this, with 17 varieties from their two vineyards and the Adelaide Hills cellar door. The owners, an adventurous, wine-loving couple, have been nationally recognised with a tally of 41 trophies and hundreds of medals.
