Artwine

Artwine’s owners Judy and Glen Kelly are passionate about the new emerging Mediterranean varieties, and their dedication over the last twenty years has led the winery to become an industry leader in the production of these exceptional wines.

With healthy vines perfectly suited to growing on each of the two vineyards in Adelaide Hills and Clare Valley, Artwine has adopted sustainable and climactically appropriate vine planting practices, with a recent investment in solar power further minimalising Artwine’s carbon footprint. All of Artwine’s wines are estate grown, vegan-friendly, featuring minimal sulphites across seventeen varieties, making this cellar door a must visit.

Located on its Adelaide Hills vineyard is a beautiful light-filled cellar door architecturally designed to offer captivating views of the vines, and the surrounding region. With an atmosphere of tranquillity provided by the cellar door and its backdrop, you could easily believe you are strolling in the rolling hills of Tuscan vineyards. An additional enclosed glass terrace flows onto the large lawn area, which overlooks the magnificent surroundings.

If you are looking for a wine-tasting experience like no other, the Artwine selection of wines will take your taste buds on a delightful and flavoursome trip to Europe. Accompanied by a cheese tasting plate, you can be guaranteed a wine experience like no other.

Throughout the grounds visitors can relax and admire the art both inside and out, wander through the spectacular grounds and be certain of a memorable experience.

Artwine’s accolades include the esteemed accomplishment of four trophies in 2023, two for the much-loved Spanish variety, albarino.

The Kelly’s approach to winemaking is simple: great wine is made in the vineyard, starting at the growth of the grapes. Artwine’s philosophy is to let the fruit be the star of the show, with outstanding fruit exceptional wines are created. Fruit expression is the driving force for Artwine wines, which has led to the vineyard’s consumer and trophy success. Visitors may also be delighted by a warm welcome from Coco and Billie, Artwine’s celebrated wine dogs.
