Kies Family Wines proudly marks four decades of excellence, tracing back to Tina and Michael’s humble beginnings in 1985. Opening the cellar door in a refurbished cottage, amidst scorching heat and with Tina’s due date with son Bronson looming, the journey began. With a steadfast commitment to quality over quantity, the philosophy of not bigger just better has guided the Kies Family Wines along. In 2006, recognising the growing demand, the business expanded, introducing the Monkey Nut Café and Tina’s passion project, a tea shop. Today, with the historic charm of an 1800s ironstone cottage, the busy cellar door is an award-winning tourist attraction, welcoming countless visitors and celebrating a remarkable forty-year legacy.
