Banrock Station
Big things are happening at Banrock Station this year, the most notable of which is the winery’s recent win of the Sustainable Wine Tourism Practices award in the 2022 South Australia Best of Wine Tourism Awards. This impressive accolade recognises Banrock Station’s ongoing commitment over the last twenty-five years to preserving the magnificent Murray River wetlands, which provide a haven for native plants, animals and threatened birdlife. It also recognises the world-class eco-tourism experience offered at the wine and wetland centre.
Banrock Station launched a range of new tours in 2021, including the signature Guided Wetlands Tour and Tasting that allows visitors to get close to nature on a private walking tour of the wetlands, complete with morning tea and a guided wine tasting. The centre also introduced deluxe picnic packages and private birdwatching tours. With these fabulous tours on offer, as well as the classic wetlands walking trails and a new menu at the restaurant, there’s much to see, do and immerse yourself in during a visit to Banrock Station.
