Bassham Wines

As a Certified Organic and Certified Biodynamic winery, Bassham Wines has a long history of producing sustainably grown and environmentally conscious wines. The winery is now pleased to announce a new vineyard in the works, which will take on the same sustainable foundations and practices, including steel posts for trellising instead of PermaPine. Emerging varieties have been planted in this new vineyard, including the likes of fiano, durif, vermentino, arinto and montepulciano.
The 2020 montepulciano is a particular highlight, having won a gold medal at the 2021 Riverland Wine Show, where Bassham Wines also took home the prestigious People of the Year Award. This has been a great way to start off 2022, as owner Bruce Bassham enters his fifty-seventh vintage on the Bassham Family vineyard.
Backed by a rich history, and having faced many challenges and successes in the past, this resilient winery has no plans to slow down in the future, with a strong commitment to its heritage and high-quality, sustainable winemaking.
